APPLYING FROM WITHIN NIGERIA
Step 1:

Form Purchase: Pick up our form from the school premises or any of our contact points in the country with the sum of ₦5,000 only.

Step 2:

Assessment Process: As part of our standard admissions procedure, all children are assessed. The assessment is to examine the child’s potential. About Specific Grades & Transfers

Into JSS1 (Grade 7)

All Grade 7 applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam and will be assessed based on the results of this exam. Former academic and behavioural records may also be considered but places are offered on merit only.

Into SSS1 (Grade 10)

All applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam and will be assessed based on the results of this exam together with their respective JSS 3 (Grade 9 or equivalent) mock results. Subjects studied at this level are grouped into three categories: Arts, Social Sciences and Science (see curriculum in our prospectus). Applicants results at the JSS level will determine which category they are best suited for.

A Levels (As; Advanced Subsidiary)

All AS applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam. Places will be offered on merit based on the results of the entrance exam together with results of their most recent O levels. Prospective candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits with at least B in each of the 3 subjects to be offered.

Step 3:

Issuance of Admission Letter: Upon successful entrance examination, admission letter will be issued to successful candidates and you will be required to pay in the sum of 50,000 Naira acceptance fee within the given date upon release of results. This is to guarantee your child’s spot for the academic year admission at SJVSC. This N50,000 is part of the first term registration school fees.

Step 4:

Registration and Collection of school uniform kits/submission of students records and transcripts for transfer students: Photocopies of Most recent academic report, including any additional educational assessments, awards previously received, certificate of participation of competition if any, birth certificate/baptismal certificate, medical report if any. Receipt of the full payment of school fees.
